S an undergrad, John Ingram (East Carolina

to visit Eta-Kappa Chapter of Sigma Pi, Ingram was
captivated by the Fraternity's unique brotherhood.
Ingram has since invested time into Sigma Pi by
leading Eta-Kappa Chapter's rechartering efforts, Iota-

foundation of the Eastern North Carolina Alumni Club.

IN MEMORIAM
DR. ROBERT W. MCCURDY
by Summer Clarkson, Assistant Editor
A
t the age of 82, Dr. Robert W. McCurdy
(Ohio Northern '61) passed to the Adytum
on High on September 25, 2024, leaving
behind his beloved family and a legacy of profound
impact. To those who knew him, "Bob" was a cherished
mentor, devoted friend, and exemplary fraternity
brother whose passion for education, pharmacy, and
Sigma Pi Fraternity shaped the lives of many.
Bob grew up in Ohio, where he cultivated the values
that would define his life. He attended Ohio Northern
University, and it was there that he discovered his
two great passions: pharmacy and fraternity. A
proud member of Zeta Chapter, Bob joined in 1961,
quickly making a mark as New Member Educator and
Chapter Sage. He graduated in 1965 with a Bachelor
of Science in Pharmacy, laying the foundation for a
career that would span more than five decades.
A LEGACY IN SIGMA PI: THE I BELIEVE MANUAL
Before his professional career took off, Bob made a
monumental contribution to the national fraternity as one
the manuscript for what would become the I Believe
